High-Risk Commerce & Digital Services

  • IPTV services, unauthorised media-streaming platforms
  • Cyberlockers, anonymous file storage providers, or piracy-linked hosting
  • Anonymous communication or privacy-enhancing communication platforms
  • No-value-added service providers, deceptive subscription models, proxy resellers
  • Pawnshops and second-hand high-value goods dealers
  • Used car dealerships and similar cash-intensive resale businesses
  • Tobacco and alcohol distribution businesses

  • Any trade or service with a high risk of tax evasion, smuggling, or opaque sourcing

Digital Asset & Token Activities

Company does not support digital-asset services that present regulatory evasion or investor-protection risks, including:

  • Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), token sales, or IDOs without appropriate licensing
  • Tokens structured to bypass securities laws
  • Synthetic trading platforms operating without regulatory authorization
  • Products designed to misrepresent investment risk

Adult, Violent, or Harmful Content

  • Pornography involving minors
  • Escorting services and prostitution networks
  • Adult entertainment services where legality or compliance cannot be verified
  • Violence-oriented content or extremism-promoting media

Any Activity Prohibited by Canadian Law or International Regulation

The Company may refuse or terminate services where the business model is found to be:

  • illegal, fraudulent, or non-compliant with applicable law;
  • inconsistent with Company’s risk appetite;
  • unable to meet AML, CTF, or sanctions screening requirements.

The Company may update this list at any time based on regulatory developments, supervisory expectations, or internal risk assessments.
